A house can be completely dialed in… and still not get the result you thought it would.

Why?

Sometimes it’s something simple.
Busy street.
Or what’s around it.

We see this all the time here in Bluffton—people will pass on a home like that and pick something quieter without thinking twice.

At higher price points, it shows up differently—but it still shows up.

Nice house.


Well maintained.
Nothing wrong with it.

And no—I don’t know what buyers are saying walking through someone else’s listing.

Nobody does.

But I do know this:

If a home is where people don’t want to be…

That matters more than how well it’s been maintained.

Maintenance keeps your home solid.

It doesn’t override location.

It doesn’t override what’s around you.

So when a well-maintained home doesn’t sell…

It’s usually not about what you did inside.

It’s about where it sits.
